Too often we wake up and the first thing we think about is how there is not enough of something- not enough sleep, time money. It’s our default mode.
We start our day from a place of lack and then wonder why we can’t seem to have the juicy, abundant life that we want.
The thoughts you think create your experience. It’s important to pay attention and deliberately choose to think thoughts that are in alignment with your desires.
Luckily, what we focus our attention on is one of the few things that we CAN control.
If you want to live a life you love that is over flowing with juicy goodness, you need to think thoughts that feel good to you. Do it on purpose.
When you wake up, spend some time thinking about everything that you appreciate. Indulge in a bit of basking in the juicy goodness of your life. Picture it in your mind and FEEL IT in your bones.
Set the stage for your day by picturing how you want it to unfold. Identify how you want to feel throughout your day and set the intention to experience it.
I start my day with some basking and then I write in my journal about how awesome it feels to be experiencing all the amazing things I desire. Some day’s, like today, it’s a stretch to get into that good feeling place, but it’s always worth the effort.
