Let’s talk more about coming into alignment………. (You can see the first part of this conversion here complete with a video!)
Being in alignment with something literally means to “line up with it”. You resonate with what you want and are on the same frequency as it. Being in alignment creates a clear path for what you want to experience to show up. It feels that same as being in the flow. Things feel easy, and effortless. You can clearly see your next steps, and you can feel the forward movement.
I like to compare it to tuning into a radio station. If you want to listen to 89.9…..you need to tune your radio dial there in order to tune into the frequency of that station.
I imagine that the life you want to live feels really good and expansive to you. In order to come into alignment with it, you need to focus on feeling good and expansive right now so you move into resonance as the life you want to live.
You can’t get there if you’re always focused on the crappy stuff that feels bad and constricts your energy- their frequencies are too far apart.
So how can you come into alignment with the life you want to live?
The simplest way to do that is to focus on feeling good!
Start looking for all the things in your life that feel good to you right now and feel expansive.
Most of us spend our time looking for the potential problems and the things that we don’t want in our lives. Start shifting your focus to all the awesomeness in your life and the things that you appreciate.
Here’s a simple way to do this……
At the end of your day, take some time to reflect on all the things you appreciated about your day and write them down.
Ask yourself these 3 questions.
- What did I do today?
- What did I love?
- What didn’t work, and how can I make it better next time?
Learning to shift your focus takes time and a bit of effort, but you will start noticing the rewards right away. I created a kick-ass daily practice that I share with all the super stars that I work with. It’s called the Daily YUM! and you can grab yourself a copy here.
