It’s that time of year!
Everyone on Facebook is doing 30 days of gratitude. Don’t get me wrong, practicing gratitude is better than nothing at all, but I know of something that is much more powerful.
This practice will quickly shift your energy, improve your mood, self-confidence and make you feel all good inside.
What is the magical practice? Watch the video to find out!
There you have it!
Can you feel the difference between the energy of appreciation and gratitude?
Appreciation will move you forward faster and open up the way for the Juicy Goodness come rushing in.

I love what you said about the energetic difference between gratitude and appreciation — it’s something I’ve had a hint of for some time now, but never could articulate as clearly as you have. You’ve hit the nail on the head! This opens up my daily practice so much more, to APPRECIATE intead of being grateful (or maybe alongside). But I’m going to have to do some serious practice before I can share a self-appreciation. That really IS hard!!

I’m glad my distinction between appreciation and gratitude resonated with you Jessica.
Geez…..there are so many amazing things about you to appreciate Jessica! You are super smart, gorgeous, passionate about basting couch potatoes off the couch….I could go on and on!!

Lisa-it was all my work with Abraham-Hicks and my years of studying how the law of attraction works that created this distinction for me.

I hadn’t looked at gratitude in that way before, Leah. Always good to take a new look at an old thing! Right now I’m appreciating my daughters giggling with each other in the next room.

I’ve got to be honest, the whole 30 days of gratitude is driving me crazy. Not because I don’t have anything to be thankful for – but it just seems cliched, and everyone is doing it.
I don’t do well with everyone is doing it. That’s why I haven’t read 50 Shades of Grey either. 😉
But appreciation feels different. And more unique. I’m in!

Amanda- I’m with you…not into what everyone else is doing!! But I do like to get people on board with what I’m doing so you being in on the appreciation feels good to me….and it will to you too because that is what appreciation is all about.

I recently did some networking with a group who had got into ‘gratitude’ and it was interesting to learn from them. Gratitude was something outwardly focused. As in, sending a card to someone as a thank you. When I intoduced being grateful for self it became very difficult for them to understand any benefits.
I’m excited to present to them again but this time using the word ‘appreciation’ to get them to include themselves.
Great wordplay Leah…loving appreciation…and a Daily Yum totally resonates with me. Thank you.
